I just wanted to let you know how much I am loving the program. I am coming back to running after many years away, and this is a great way to do it. It allows you to feel the joy and fun of running without pain, so it is [not intimidating.] — D.I

Participating in your program was just what I needed to get me started and to show me that I can do it. I have tried before but usually gave up whenever it became difficult or didn't feel good. Thanks for offering such a great opportunity. &— G.B.

It's difficult to put into words how much this [program] has meant to me. I ran a 5K last weekend and I NEVER imagined I would be able to do that.

I have to tell you that I have never, in my 45+ years, run for a continuous half hour+. I owe it all to your program and I thank you. — R.D.

"This has been a life changing experience for me. I am so happy knowing that 'yes I can run again.' Thanks for all you have done to get me back to my love and passion for running."

Your running program has been and is perfect for me. I started running on my own back in May by running 1/2 mile and gradually trying to increase the distance. It was hard and I was not enjoying it at all, but I really wanted to find a way to make it work. That's when I came across your website. I've always loved walking and when I saw the first level, I knew it was something I could do and I was going to look forward to doing. That's what made all the difference. I started following the meal plans and feeling stronger and before I knew it, I was doing 3+ miles! I couldn't believe I was actually doing it! In October, I did my first 5K race. I certainly didn't break any records, but I did it and had a wonderful time! — J.H.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this program. I am surprised every time I go out to run and find myself having fun. I was even able to get my family excited again about running. — K.S.

I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your "Running For Women" program. I have had a lot of experience with running in the past but I have never enjoyed running as much as I have these past few months. I feel stronger and healthier than I have felt in years. The program is awesome! — G.D.

I hope you know that you have change my life for the better in so many ways — new friends, better health, and a much needed newfound hope and confidence! I'm forever grateful for you and your life-changing run/walk program. — U.K.

There is no way I would have done this without you! I had tried to run myself and was getting nothing but aches and pains, and was very discouraged. Now, I look forward to many more runs in the future and still hope to conquer a 10K one day. You have been very inspiring. I have recommended the Running for Women program to a lot of people. Thanks for everything you have done, your support, enthusiasm, and the training. — B.L.

I have been very motivated. I know it's thanks to this program. I feel accountable. And I am inspired by all of the information provided by this site. — K.B.

I am thoroughly enjoying the website. I've finished my first week already and am really enjoying my new-found energy. The website is wonderful with all of its tips, information, recipes and resources. I'm so glad I joined up. I'm telling all of my friends about your website. — S.W.

Karey, thank you so much for all of your personal attention. I still think this is the best fitness program I've ever found and am still touting its benefits to my friends. — S.W.

I am finding your website super easy to use. And being the non-computer person that I am...this really is easy! I have never kept an exercise log. It really feels good to be accountable. And it's motivating to see what I've done. Thanks so much... — K.B.

In two weeks I will be running a half marathon. How's that from the girl who cried the night before the first run because she was so scared she would fail? The one who regularly took naps after the beginning runs because she was so exhausted. The same girl whose resting heart rate was close to 90, and now has a resting heart rate between 55 and 60!! My blood pressure has never been bad but after running a personal best 44 minute 5K today, it was a whopping 100/50! How's that for NON scale victories! Thanks to you and your support this past year. — J.P.

I am signing on again with you all, I really like how you respond to [my emails]; it's like having your own personal trainer on line! — P.B.

I am really impressed with your site and would love to get others on board in my area. Rarely is it the norm to get an email directly from the CEO, let alone with such expediency! Thank you so much for the information you have shared with me in order to accomplish my goal. — C.P.

First things first, you successfully got me to 5 miles! I made it and I'm so very happy. Thank you!!! I was astonished to find that the run-walk practice takes you so much farther without your body feeling extra exertion. I'm truly thrilled. Thank you, thank you! — M.B.

I seem to have caught the bug! This past weekend I participated in my second 5K. I ran 2/walked 2 the whole way and it felt great. My goal was to best my previous time (44 minutes) by 5 minutes, and I did it, coming in at 39 minutes. Now I'm eyeing that 35-minute mark. I felt great afterward, and today I'm graduating myself to run 3/walk 3. I seem to have become a runner in spite of myself Thanks for all your encouragement and inspiration. — N.W.

I thank you for your continued support and interest in my running life. Your program and website have really been just what I was looking for and needed. [Your program is] truly special. — A.N.

Just reviewing your website and it is spectacular!! I learned so much in just a few minutes- and most important, it motivated me to want to try it! I am going to join! — C.B.

I went and did my morning jog and it was great. I had forgotten about the short stride! I had been artificially pushing myself to go faster and it felt awful. Up until now I had only been running 3 miles, but this morning I was able to go my 4.5 mile route and it felt so good. I did incorporate walk breaks ( I have never given myself the permission to walk). I am really thrilled. — K.B.

I wanted to say something special at the holidays... you gave me my life back. Thank you! I realized that I went from being a couch potato to running a 12K (Bay to Breakers) within 8 months! I AM a runner! Running has boosted my self-esteem and made my family proud of me. I wanted you to know that you and your program have made such a difference. I have carried my running mantra into my work and personal life. — D.F.

At 61, I could not run; at 64, I can run a half marathon. I found RFW to be the one program, in a lifetime of dabbling and failure to find something, that I could sustain. In my fifties I began to trying out different exercise programs. Run/Walk is as simple, and elementary an exercise program you could possibly imagine. You need only proper shoes; no special skills, no special equipment, no special location, no real expense. The real secret to RFW is the nurturing support. I can't imagine my life anymore before RFW. It seems as though the healthier me gets more joy out of life. RFW has truly changed my life. — A.N.

Running for Women just might be the best thing you'll ever do for yourself — and this is coming from someone who entered the program out of shape and full of doubt. I urge you to give it a try. — B.A.

"When I was in my early 20s, I was a runner; the farthest I ran was a 10K. I became a mother at 27. I put myself on hold and did very little to take care of my self. I gained weight and lost my self-esteem. Now my son is off to college and we are empty-nesters. I'm almost 50 and the thought of running made me cringe, I didn't think I could do it because of my age and weight. I was not going to be able to breathe. It was going to be hard.

I was encouraged by a friend to join RFW, thinking its time for me now! To my surprise, I could do it with the help of a running plan that made it possible. I feel great! - like new life has been breathed into me. Now, I want to run in a Marathon someday!" — K.P.

When I signed up for RFW I told people that if this program makes me like running it is a 'miracle!' Well guess what? I think it might just be miraculous!! Amazing to be sure! I have never liked to run, jog, or do any exercise regularly. I have tried going to gyms, to Curves, and to aerobics classes. None of these kept me motivated or interested enough to keep me going back.

I've always thought that running was a great exercise because it is inexpensive and you can take it anywhere. But I never thought that I would or could become a 'runner.' I also never knew that 'run/walk' was an option! Run a little, walk a little? Even I can do that! What is especially motivating is that after only 6 weeks I can see and feel real results in my body and we are not even half way through the program. For all of this, I am grateful." — C.Z.

"I have had so much fun with this experience that I have hardly noticed the increase in running time and the decrease in walking time. I have more lung capacity, stamina, core muscle strength and energy. After my runs, I have to spend many hours studying intensely due to my courses. I am able to stay alert and focused and I attribute this to my running.

Running has been a long dream that I have wanted to reintroduce into my life for many years. It is because of this program that not only has my dream become reality, but I am receiving wonderful health benefits along with making some wonderful new friends. Running for Women will always be the foundation that I turn to during difficult times." — C.K.
